Organized in 2012 as Positive Change Lisbon, our volunteer coalition began with small facade cleanups and community parades. Over a decade of steady advocacy laid the foundation for sustainable corridor growth.
In 2024, we transitioned to Discover Lisbon to align directly with the national Main Street America framework, expanding our capacity to support local business owners and secure revitalization grants.

Preserving historic mill architecture, funding facade enhancements, and maintaining walkable sidewalks that invite neighbors to linger along Lisbon Street.
Assisting entrepreneurs with site placement, connecting merchants to regional capital, and strengthening the commercial tax base of Lisbon Falls.
Organizing signature street festivals, seasonal concert series, and cooperative district campaigns that keep downtown commerce active year-round.
